Rick Moranis Punched in the Face While Walking in NYC, Hollywood Stars React
Rick Moranis has been identified as the 67-year-old man who was punched in the face by a man during a Thursday morning walk in New York City.
The beloved actor was walking on West 70th street near Central Park West at 7:24am on Thursday (October 1). A man walked by and sucker punched Rick in the head, then just walked away.
ABC News reports that “Moranis hurt his head, back, and hip in the attack and went to the hospital for evaluation.” A video of the attack can be viewed below.
Rick is best known for his work in the Ghostbusters and Honey, I Shrunk the Kids series. He also appeared in the 1986 musical movie Little Shop of Horrors.
