'The Bachelorette' Producers Are Suing Contestant Luke Parker for Breach of Contract

Luke Parker, a controversial contestant from last year’s edition of The Bachelorette, is being sued by the producers of the show for breach of contract.

The 25-year-old reality star is being ordered to pay $100,000 to the show’s production company NZK Productions for breaching his contract.

Luke was fined $25,000 for each of four instances in which he made media appearances without the consent of the company. His contract for the show stated that he would not “make any media appearances [from January 2019] through one year after the date of the initial broadcast of the final episode of the series,” according to Page Six.

The production company says Luke also violated a provision that stated that he was prohibited from sharing “any information or events he witnessed or learned as a contestant… or make any negative or disparaging remarks about the series and/or its principals, employees or affiliates, at any time.”

Hannah Brown apologized to fans for keeping Luke around on the show for so long.
