Voter Who Complimented Trump's Smile Says She Will Vote for Biden

Paulette Dale made headlines last night when she told President Trump that he has a “great smile” before asking him a question during the NBC Town Hall event.

Now, Paulette says that even though she complimented Trump on his smile, she doesn’t actually like him as the president.

“I wish he would smile more and talk less,” Paulette told the Miami New Times while leaving the Town Hall event on Thursday night.

Paulette added that Trump “steps in it every time he opens his mouth… I think the man has a nice smile. However, I’m not a fan.” During her interview with the New Times, she told the outlet that she plans to vote for Biden.

Paulette is a former professor at Miami Dade College and she asked Trump about DACA during the Town Hall. Many of her students were Dreamers and she’s worried about their future. She said, “I know these kids are the cream of the crop and are so worthy, and I was very concerned that the rug would be pulled out from under them and they would be sent back.”

In the end, Trump has not earned her vote.

“He’s very combative and he doesn’t believe in science, and that’s a big concern to me,” she said. “And by his own words, he knows more than the [military] generals, knows more than the public-health experts, knows more than anybody. I believe Joe Biden will listen to the experts.”

“I believe the man has a very nice smile; there was no reason not to comment on it,” she added. “Smiles are important to me. I like nice teeth.”
