“I grew up Republican. My first time voting, I voted for John McCain. I was a little Republican,” she said, saying that her upbringing allowed her to “see the fiscal benefits of some of the Republican policies.”

She also said “the social issues weren’t in line with [her] views,” and as she grew older, she “changed [her] politics based on the things [she] learned.”

She also said that the election of the current President of the United States “changed everything” for her.

“This is an impeached president who’s broken many laws and has refused to condemn white supremacy, and it feels like there has been a line drawn in the sand. I don’t think it’s right…it just changes things for me,” she said.

“I don’t want to support a president who supports white supremacists.”

Jennifer has since endorsed Joe Biden for the current 2020 presidential election.

She also compared the current political climate to the time of Barack Obama in office, when the public would “go days, maybe weeks, without thinking about the president because everything would generally be okay.”

She was recently announced as a co-star in an incredibly star-filled ensemble production. Find out what it is!
