Blake Shelton Calls Fiancee Gwen Stefani His 'Inspiration' in Acceptance Speech at People's Choice Awards 2020 - Watch!

The 44-year-old country singer took home the award for Country Artist of 2020 at the 2020 E! People’s Choice Awards on Sunday (November 15) at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif.

During his acceptance speech, Blake gave a sweet shout-out to his fiancee.

“Thank you to my new fiancée, Gwen Stefani. That’s S-t-e-f-a-n-i, if you need to Google it to figure out who she is. Thanks for the inspiration,” Blake joked.

Blake and Gwen revealed that after five years of dating, and spending most of this year in quarantine together in Oklahoma, they had gotten engaged.

It was recently revealed that Blake asked Gwen‘s sons for their permission before he proposed.
