Gal Gadot & Patty Jenkins Release Statements About 'Wonder Woman 1984' Heading to HBO Max

Wonder Woman 1984 is officially headed to HBO Max and Gal Gadot and Patty Jenkins are really excited about it!

Just after the announcement was made, the director and star of the movie took to social media with notes for fans.

“At some point you have to choose to share any love and joy you have to give, over everything else,” Patty wrote on her Twitter. “We love out move as we love our fans, so we truly hope that our film brings a little bit of joy and reprieve to all of you this holiday season.”

Gal added in her own note that decided to have it on HBO Max “wasn’t an easy decision and we never thought we’d have to hold onto the release for such a long time.”

“Wonder Woman 1984 is a special one for me and I can only hope it’ll be as special to you too…You can watch it IN THEATERS (they’re doing an amazing job keeping it safe) and you can watch it on HBOMax from your homes.”

The official trailer also added the HBO Max information to the end.

Wonder Woman 1984 will premiere on Christmas Day, December 25.
