Henry Cavill Has Been Injured on Set Of 'The Witcher'; Production Will Go On For Season Two

Henry Cavill has sustained a minor injury on the set of Netflix’s The Witcher.

According to Deadline, the 37-year-old actor is recovering from “a minor leg muscle injury”, and it happened during production at Arborfield Studios, in London.

He injured himself while on an assault course, working at a height of 20ft while wearing a safety harness.

The Sun, who first reported the news, revealed that Henry won’t be filming on the show for a short period of time, as he continues to recover.

However, The Witcher will continue production up until holiday break later this month.

Production on the series had been stopped multiple times over the year, mostly due to the pandemic, and because of several positive COVID-19 cases amongst the crew and cast members.

Here’s the official summary of The Witcher‘s upcoming season two: Convinced Yennefer’s life was lost at the Battle of Sodden, Geralt of Rivia brings Princess Cirilla to the safest place he knows, his childhood home of Kaer Morhen. While the Continent’s kings, elves, humans and demons strive for supremacy outside its walls, he must protect the girl from something far more dangerous: the mysterious power she possesses inside.
