Alicia Vikander to Star In HBO Series Based on 'Irma Vep'

Alicia Vikander is set to star in an HBO limited series based on Olivier Assayas’ 1996 feature film Irma Vep!

The 32-year-old Oscar winner is set to star as Mira, who according to Deadline, is “an American movie star disillusioned by her career and a recent breakup, who moves to France to star as Irma Vep in a remake of the French silent film classic, Les Vampires.”

The film will follow Alicia‘s character as she “struggles as the distinctions between herself and the character she plays begin to blur and merge.”

It’s not often that we have seen Alicia out and about during the pandemic but we did get photos of her with her famous hubby and they looked so happy!
