President Elect Joe Biden Gets Coronavirus Vaccine Live on TV

President elect Joe Biden has officially been given the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

The 78-year-old politician was given the Pfizer and BioNTech coronavirus vaccine, which was the first vaccine approved in the United States.

While receiving the vaccine from a nurse, the President Elect turned to the nurse administering the vaccine and said, “We owe you big.”

“We owe these folks an awful lot … People should be prepared, when it’s available, to take the vaccine. There’s nothing to worry about,” President elect Biden told reporters after receiving dose one.

This specific Coronavirus vaccine comes in two doses, and the President-elect will have to return in a few weeks to get dose number 2.
