Ratatouille: The TikTok Musical is a hit!

The social media platform born show has officially raised over a million dollars, which will go to benefit the Actors Fund, which supports those in entertainment including many who have been unemployed due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

“You did it! You raised over $1 million to benefit @TheActorsFund!” the organization tweeted in celebration.

They also mentioned that tickets are still on sale ahead of the show’s final performance tonight (January 4).

“I am thrilled that we’ve begun the New Year with this seismic event that is clearly providing so much joy,” Joseph P. Benincasa, CEO of the Actors Fund, shared with Deadline. “Our gratitude goes to the producers, creators, performers and everyone in the TikTok community who came together to make it all happen so wonderfully.”

Tituss Burgess, Wayne Brady, Ashley Park, Adam Lambert, Kevin Chamberlin and Andrew Barth Feldman all starred in the production.

TikTok users Emily Jacobsen, Daniel Mertzlufft, and Blake Rouse all have writing credits on the production as their material first launched the viral sensation.
