Josh Groban Performs at 'Indoguration' for Joe Biden's Dog Major!

Josh Groban is kicking off the Inauguration Day celebrations a little early!

On Sunday (January 17), the 39-year-old entertainer performed during the virtual “Indoguration Ceremony” in honor of President-Elect Joe Biden‘s dog Major.

The ceremony was hosted by the Delaware Humane Association and Pumpkin Pet Insurance as a charity event.

During the event ceremony, Josh performed a remix of “(How Much Is) That Doggie in the Window?” by Patti Page.

“IT CAME TRUE!! I am so happy,” Josh wrote on Instagram ahead of the event. “The world is a mess, but we can all agree dogs rule. Let’s celebrate Major’s Indoguration and raise $$ for his rescue shelter, Delaware Humane Association. Today at 3pm EST! All donations go to Major’s shelter, DHA. Zoom tickets have sold out but you can still watch the show on YouTube (link in my stories!) and donate to DHA using the link in the YouTube video description. See you there!”

Major will be the very first rescue dog ever to live in the White House. Major won’t be the only dog moving in on Wednesday, January 20. The President-Elect and his wife Dr. Jill Biden will also be bringing their dog Champ with them, whom they purchased from a breeder back in 2008.
