Budweiser Exec Explains Why There's No Super Bowl Commercial This Year

An exec for Budweiser is explaining why the brand decided to not air a new commercial during the 2021 Super Bowl.

The beer brand always has some of the best commercials ever year, including all of those Clydesdale Horses ads that are beloved by fans.

Budweiser has decided to skip the Super Bowl this year so that they can “reallocate” the funds to help people affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Like everyone else, we are eager to get people back together, reopen restaurants and bars, and be able to gather to cheers with friends and family,” Budweiser vice president of marketing Monica Rustgi said in a statement. “To do this, and to bring consumers back into neighborhood bars and restaurants that were hit exceptionally hard by the pandemic, we’re stepping in to support critical awareness of the COVID-19 vaccine.”

Make sure to check out Budweiser’s social media pages because they will be posting ads on there all night!
