Abigail Breslin Reveals Her Dad Has Been 'Placed on a Ventilator' Amid COVID-19 Battle

Abigail Breslin has revealed that her dad is battling a very serious case of coronavirus.

The 24-year-old Scream Queens actress took to her Twitter on Wednesday (February 10) to share that her dad Michael recently tested positive for the virus and “had to be placed on a ventilator.”

“Hi guys. Unfortunately this post isn’t one I ever thought I would have to make,” Abigail started. “I’m asking for prayers and positivity sent this way for my daddy, Michael who tested positive for COVID-19 and this morning had to be placed on a ventilator.”

Abigail went on to say that she is staying “positive” that her dad will get better soon, before urging her fans to continue following safety protocols.

“We are continuing to stay positive and know he’s under great care,” Abigail continued. “I’m extremely thankful for the nurses and doctors who are working hard to make sure he fights this virus. I have faith that things will turn around at any moment, but in the meantime, please continue to wear your masks and follow COVID protocol. Thank you – Abbie”
