Paul Bettany Reacts to 'WandaVision' Fan Theories, Reveals Some of Them Are Very Accurate
Paul Bettany is speaking out in response to the fan theories that have been spreading around the internet about WandaVision.
Six out of nine episodes are now streaming on Disney+ and there are still many mysteries left to unlock ahead of the finale.
Paul spoke to Marvel.com for a new interview about the show and how he loves reading the fan theories about what’s to come. He even said that some of the theories have been very accurate!
“I’m loving it. I’m loving it being disseminated to the fans. And I love how frustrated they are of not being able to see it all in one fix. I love reading their theories of what might happen. And some of them are incredibly accurate, actually. I keep thinking, ‘Marvel should give that person a job,’” Paul said.
He continued, “It’s been a whole lot of fun watching them go through this. I mean, I know they’ve been waiting a long time. So, have we. It’s really special to watch it on the platform without my name across the middle of it [on early screeners]. So yeah, it’s been really fun.”

Paul was asked if he can tease what’s coming next on the show.
He responded, “I’m not going to answer it because I am highly superstitious. The amount of times I’ve talked about things that then don’t happen, so I’m going to keep my mouth shut. And I’m going to keep my mouth shut and my digits crossed.”
“I love it. I love this journey. And it’s such a delight to come and revisit this character and such a privilege to work– you know that when you’re going to work, you’re going to be working with the greatest technicians that the industry has to offer. And that is so, so exciting to somebody who loves film and learning about film and seeing all the new processes and gadgets and tricks is just fascinating to me. I love it,” Paul added. “Yes, and I just can’t— it’s weird, though, isn’t it? I mean, I don’t know. I find it really moving. I’m really excited for it to end and for people to get to the ending. And then it’s out there. You know what I mean?”
He concluded, “It’s been a really interesting, different feeling spreading this out over eight weeks.”
There was a giant moment at the end of last week’s fifth episode.
