Amanda Kloots Gets Her First Dose of the COVID-19 Vaccine Eight Months After Husband Nick Cordero Died From It

Amanda Kloots is sharing some big news with her fans – she got the coronavirus vaccine!

The 38-year-old The Talk co-host and fitness instructor revealed she has gotten her first does of the Pfizer vaccine.

“I just got my COVID 19 vaccine!” Amanda rejoiced on Instagram. “I went to a site and waited in my car until all appointments were over in hopes that they had any extra vaccines. I was fully prepared to be turned away, but they said they had enough tonight for everyone waiting.”

She continued, “I cannot tell you how emotional I was and still am right now. I had Elvis beside me and ‘Live Your Life’ playing in the car.”

“THANK YOU to the National Guard that was here today volunteering since 5:30am administering the Pfizer vaccine to willing arms,” Amanda added, and revealed she had been terrified “since Nick has passed, as a single mother of getting this virus and now I am one step closer. Thank you to my friends @laurencpresent and @thompoint0 for driving and being by my side.”

Amanda‘s husband, Nick Cordero, sadly passed away in July of 2020, just months after a first being diagnosed with the virus. She had chronicled his battle day after day until his sad passing.

She’s utilizing therapy to address the trauma she’s still going through after Nick‘s death.

FYI: Amanda is wearing an Ahida Correale face mask while getting the vaccine.
