Paramount+ Will Have Two, Affordable Pricing Plans For Its Streaming Service

Following a long list of confirmed series and movies planned for Paramount+, Viacom has released just how much it will cost viewers to be part of the newest streaming service.

Via Deadline, the new service will have just two tiers – a basic level and a higher level.

The higher, $10 plan, will be ad-free and will have some programming not available on the basic, ad-supported tier. The plan also includes a live CBS signal, which has been a key element of CBS All Access, the predecessor of Paramount+.

It will also offer live sports supplemented by “even more CBS Sports,” and news with “enriched” feeds, including local news from stations around the country.

Tom Ryan, president and CEO of ViacomCBS Streaming, added that the ad-supported $5 basic plan will include “the full spectrum of the Paramount+ experience” at “an incredible value.”

Subscribers will get live sports like the NFL and UAIFA soccer; news from CBSN and on-demand CBS News segments; Paramount+ originals; Paramount movies; and “a massive portion” of library titles and current seasons of CBS shows.

The pricing takes effect in June, and bundles with other, unspecified streaming offerings with ViacomCBS properties, are being set up now.
