HBO Max Users Surprised To See 'Justice League' Playing After Intending To Watch 'Tom & Jerry'

Some HBO Max subscribers got a big surprise when they tried to watch Tom & Jerry on the streaming service on Monday (March 8).

According to THR, a few subscribers revealed on social media that when they had gone to watch the hybrid animated and live action film, they were met with a very different movie – Zack Snyder’s Justice League.

Doug Bass from North Carolina first noted the error and posted it on Twitter, and reveled that he was able to watch an hour of the special film before it was cut off. When he attempted to watch it again, the original movie he intended to watch played.

Another fan also shared what he was seeing on screen with others.

The Hollywood Reporter than tried this on their own account and while pressing play on Tom & Jerry, they were first met with an error message before Justice League played for them.

“When pausing the film, it says you are watching Tom & Jerry,” the site notes.

Zack Snyder’s Justice Leagueis due out in 10 days, on March 18.

If you didn’t see, find out just how long the runtime on the film actually is here…
