John Oliver Reveals the Only Thing That Surprised Him From Prince Harry & Meghan Markle's Interview

John Oliver was a guest on The Tonight Show this week where he spoke out about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry‘s big interview with Oprah Winfrey.

He said the interview was “amazing,” while adding, “That is kind of what I felt like, sadly, her experience was going to be going in.” He grew up watching the royals “from a distance” in England.

He was then asked if anything shocked him, to which he responded, “The only thing that shocked me after was that Oprah, the next day, saying, ‘Harry wants to make clear it wasn’t Prince Philip being racist.’ Which made me think, ‘Really? Okay, that is actually surprising.’”

John Oliver is referring to the moment where Oprah revealed which 2 royals did not bring up Archie’s skin tone.
