Country Singer Taylor Dee Has Died at 33

Taylor Dee, a rising star in the country music world, has died at the young age of 33.

The Dallas-based musician passed away on March 14 after being injured in a car accident. She died at a hospital in Texas, according to a coroner’s report obtained by E! News.

The accident happened after Taylor was driving on a highway and missed the turn for her exit by a split-second. “She struck a barrier,” Euless Police Chief Mike Brown said.

Taylor was not wearing a seat belt and she was ejected from the vehicle. A male passenger who was wearing a seat belt remained in the vehicle and was not seriously injured, other than a broken toe.

Taylor Dee was the real deal – a true talent with a heart and passion not only for her music but for people,” Linda Wilson, president of the Texas Country Music Association, told the Texas Newsroom. “In every performance, her talent was evident, but more importantly she allowed her fans to know her heart. She will be missed tremendously.”

We’re sending our thoughts and condolences to Taylor‘s loved ones during this difficult time.
