Disney+'s 'Obi-Wan Kenobi' Series Cast Announced, Ewan McGregor & Hayden Christensen to Star!

Disney+ has officially announced the cast of their upcoming Star Wars special event series, Obi-Wan Kenobi

Ewan McGregor will be returning as the iconic Jedi Master, with Hayden Christensen in the role of Darth Vader!

The story begins 10 years after the dramatic events of “Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith” where Kenobi faced his greatest defeat, the downfall and corruption of his best friend and Jedi apprentice, Anakin Skywalker turned evil Sith Lord Darth Vader.

Fans are absolutely loving the full cast announcement, which includes some major names!

Joining the cast are Queen’s Gambit‘s Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Game of Thrones‘ Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell and Benny Safdie.

The series will begin shooting in April 2021.
