Melissa Rycroft Says She Was 'Turned Down' for 'Real Housewives of Dallas' Twice

Melissa Rycroft is opening up to her fans!

The 38-year-old Bachelor alum recently had a question and answer session on Instagram where she revealed that she’d been considered for the Real Housewives of Dallas, but didn’t make the cut.

When one social media user asked why she had never appeared on the Bravo franchise, Melissa replied, “I’ve been interviewed and turned down twice… I am so NOT Housewife material!”

Melissa has been on a number of famous reality tv shows throughout her career and won Jason Mesnick‘s season of The Bachelor in 2009.

However, after she accept his proposal, Jason decided to split with Melissa because he was still thinking about runner-up Molly Malaney.

Melissa then went on to appear on Season 15 of Dancing with the Stars, which she won!
