DMX Suffers Overdose, in 'Grave' Condition in N.Y. Hospital

Rapper DMX is reportedly in critical condition right now after suffering a drug overdose.

The 50-year-old entertainer was rushed to the hospital on Friday night (April 2) after the overdose occurred at his home at around 11pm, according to TMZ.

DMX reportedly suffered a heart attack that was triggered by the overdose. He is currently in the critical care unit at a hospital in White Plains, N.Y.

One source said that DMX has “some brain activity” while another said that he’s in a “vegetative state” and might not make it.

DMX has a history with substance abuse and he completed his last stint in rehab back in 2019.
