Joss Whedon Threatened to Harm Gal Gadot's Career During 'Justice League,' Bombshell Report Claims

A bombshell new report has emerged about Gal Gadot‘s working relationship with Justice League director Joss Whedon. Whedon has been disgraced over various allegations against him in the recent past, including allegations about what went down during filming of the DC Universe movie.

A new report has emerged suggesting Joss threatened Gal‘s career. Gal’s Wonder Woman was released in June of 2017 and Justice League was released a few months later, for context.

THR published a report suggesting that Gal had “multiple concerns with the revised version of the film, including issues about her character being more aggressive than her character in Wonder Woman. She wanted to make the character flow from one movie to the next.”

The report continued that Joss allegedly forced Gal to record lines she did not like, “threatened to harm Gadot‘s career and disparaged Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins.”

A source added that at the time, “Joss was bragging that he’s had it out with Gal. He told her he’s the writer and she’s going to shut up and say the lines and he can make her look incredibly stupid in this movie.”

Apparently, this led to a sit down between Gal, Patty, and then-Warner Bros. chairman Kevin Tsujihara.

In response to this bombshell story, Gal released the following statement: “I had my issues with [Whedon] and Warner Bros. handled it in a timely manner.”

Back in December of 2020, Gal released another statement about her experience with Whedon.
