During an appearance on Literally! With Rob Lowe, Gayle was asked the question and she revealed the person in question and the answer he gave to one of her queries.

Gayle revealed that her worst celeb interview ever was with the late musician Frank Zappa.

Gayle relayed what happened, saying, “I asked him, ‘Frank Zappa, the names of your children, Moon Unit and Dweezil, where did that come from?’ I didn’t say that they’re dumb names. I just said they’re very unusual. Is there a story? And he goes, ‘No, they’re names. Just like Gayle. Any other questions?’”
