'American Idol' Top 12 Revealed After the Shocking Exit of Wyatt Pike

The Top 12 was revealed during the latest episode of American Idol following a shocking moment at the top of the show.

The Top 16 contestants performed in the episode that aired last night on ABC and the 10 contestants with the most votes received an instant pass into next week’s show. The other six had to perform for one of the two judges’ saves.

Host Ryan Seacrest revealed when the show started that contestant Wyatt Pike had dropped out of the show and one of his recent Instagram posts might give a clue as to what happened.

We also learned during the episode that a big twist is happening next week and it will be the “biggest shake-up in Idol history.”
