'The Rookie' Crew Takes Shelter After Possible Shooting Reported Near Set

The third season of the ABC series The Rookie is currently being filmed and the crew was forced to take shelter after a possible shooting was reported near set.

The LAPD responded to a “possible shooting” at approximately 2:56pm at Hartford Avenue and West 5th Street in Los Angeles.

No suspect was found at the scene of the reported shooting and no injuries were reported.

The Hollywood Reporter says that the crew was in the process of moving to a different location when the reported shooting happened. The crew took shelter until authorities responded to the scene. Reps for ABC and producers ABC Signature had no comment about the incident.

One of the original stars of The Rookie did not return for the second season after she alleged discrimination and sexual assault on set.
