Here's How Hilary Duff's Pregnancy Was Hidden in 'Younger' Final Season

Did you know that Hilary Duff was pregnant with her third child when she filmed the final season of Younger?

The first four episodes of the season are currently streaming on Paramount+ and Hulu and you won’t notice her baby bump in any of them. Darren Star, the show’s creator, is opening up about his decision to hide the pregnancy instead of writing it into the storyline.

“Hilary was amazing. She was a trooper, beyond. I’m sure it was not comfortable,” Darren told Variety. He also told the outlet that they hid the pregnancy through wardrobe and blocking.

He added, “I remember Hilary told me on the set that they would give her things to hold in front of her, but it got to the point where her arms weren’t long enough to always hold something.”

Two of the beloved series regulars from Younger were unable to return for the final season in their original capacity.
