No castings have been announced for the film and it seems unlikely that Chris Evans will be returning as Steve Rogers for the project. If you watched the finale of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, then you know who is carrying the shield now.

In the final episode of the season, Anthony Mackie‘s character Sam Wilson made his debut as Captain America, adding elements of his Falcon suit to the new Cap suit.
After all those amazing moments in the finale, we can’t wait to see more of Sam Wilson as Cap. There’s also hope for a second season of the show after this other news was revealed.
