Avril Lavigne Opens Up About Making Music With Boyfriend Mod Sun

Avril Lavigne is gushing over Mod Sun in a new interview.

The cute couple just dropped a new visual for their collaboration of “Flames” and while speaking with People, the 36-year-old singer shared that the song is a “very special song.”

“I love how the acoustic version turned out. It really brings another layer of emotion to the song,” Avril added.

Mod also spoke on the song, saying that with the track, he “wanted to offer a bright side to the story.”

“I felt like sonically I could paint that landscape through acoustic guitar and a string section,” he added. “I wanted to make something that felt like we were performing in your living room.”

Avril also promised more collabs to come with Mod.

“He’s an incredible artist and producer. This is the first of many. Proud of what we made with ‘Flames.’”
