Dominique Fishback to Star Opposite Anthony Ramos in Upcoming 'Transformers' Movie

Dominique Fishback is joining the cast of Transformers!

The 30-year-old Judas and the Black Messiah actress is in final negotiations to star alongside In the Heights‘ Anthony Ramos in the upcoming installment in the franchise, per Deadline.

According to the outlet, Anthony screen-tested with a number of actresses and Dominique won over the team involved. The pair have been close friends for a number of years and actually worked on a play together in college!

The film is set to be directed by Steven Caple Jr., known for his work on 2018′s Creed II, and is expected to premiere in June 2022.

Paramount is also working on a new animated Transformers prequel directed by Josh Cooley with a script co-written by Andrew Barrer and Gabriel Ferrari.
