Elodie Yung Joins the Cast of Fox Drama 'The Cleaning Lady'

Elodie Yung is taking on an exciting new role!

The Defenders actress has joined the cast of Fox’s upcoming drama series The Cleaning Lady, per Deadline.

Here’s a summary: “The Cleaning Lady stars Yung as Thony, a whip-smart doctor who comes to the U.S. for a medical treatment to save her ailing son. But when the system fails and pushes her into hiding, she refuses to be beaten down and marginalized. Instead, she becomes a cleaning lady for the mob and starts playing the game by her own rules.”

The show will explore issues within the U.S. immigration system and is based on an Argentinian series of the same name.

The cast also includes Adan Canto as Arman, Martha Millan as Fiona and twins Sebastien LaSalle and Valentino LaSalle sharing the role of Luca.
