Seth Rogen Reveals If He'll Work With James Franco In The Future Following Sexual Misconduct Allegations

Seth Rogen and James Franco have been in many movies together, on screen and behind the scenes.

Since meeting on the set of Freaks and Geeks together in the late 1990s, the longtime pals have worked on 15 projects together. The latest was 2015′s The Interview.

However, as James has been accused of sexual misconduct, Seth is revealing if the two will be working together in the future.

See what Seth Rogen shared about working with James Franco…

Speaking with The Sunday Times, Seth hinted that his and James‘ professional relationship had come to an end.

“What I can say is that I despise abuse and harassment and I would never cover or conceal the actions of someone doing it, or knowingly put someone in a situation where they were around someone like that,” Seth shared in the interview. “However, I do look back at a joke I made on Saturday Night Live in 2014 and I very much regret making that joke. It was a terrible joke, honestly.”

The SNL joke was about Seth posing as an underage girl and setting up a date with James over social media.

James had been accused of sexual misconduct by several students at his former acting school. The complaints of him turned into a lawsuit, which he has since settled. However, many are still telling their tales of their experiences working with him.

“I also look back to that interview in 2018 where I comment that I would keep working with James, and the truth is that I have not and I do not plan to right now,” Seth added, before mentioning that it’s not just their professional relationship that was affected.

He continued, “I don’t know if I can define that [our friendship] right now during this interview. I can say it, um, you know, it has changed many things in our relationship and our dynamic.”

Seth does admit that losing a friend in this situation is painful, but “not as painful and difficult as it is for a lot of other people involved. I have no pity for myself in this situation.”
