Janet Jackson's Brothers Share Their Thoughts on Justin Timberlake's Apology to Her

Marlon, Tito, and Jackie Jackson are reacting to Justin Timberlake‘s long overdue apology to their sister Janet Jackson.

Back in February, Justin came under fire after the release of the Framing Britney Spears documentar, which highlighted his treatment of Britney Spears after their breakup in 2002. Fans also demanded that he apologize to Janet over his actions following their infamous 2004 Super Bowl Halftime Show.

Justin then took to his Instagram to apologize to both Britney and Janet, writing in part, “I want to take accountability for my own missteps in all of this as well as be part of a world that uplifts and supports. I care deeply about the wellbeing of the people I love and have loved. I can do better and I will do better.”

On Wednesday (May 12), the Jackson brothers appeared on Andy Cohen‘s Radio Andy show where they shared their thoughts on Justin‘s apology.

“You know, it takes a man to step up and do that, so we do thank him for doing that,” Marlon started.

“But we’d like to move forward because that was out there, the negativity about it,” he continued. “But, as they say in the old days, as long as they’re talking about you, good or bad, you’re still in the public’s eye…We thank you, Justin, for what you did.”

Jackie chimed in, saying it was “nice he did something like that, because it kind of hurt Janet in the past. So for him to step up and say that, it means a whole lot.”

Shortly after Justin posted his public apology, Janet shared a message to her fans. Here’s what she said.
