The stars were socially distanced for the past year and three months amid the pandemic, and got to happily reunite on camera at last.

See the sweet moment..

Their reunion came at the same time as the CDC announced that fully vaccinated people no longer need to socially distance or wear masks indoors.

“How long have we been waiting for this moment?” Savannah asked while holding Hoda’s hand.

“We are doing it. We used to sit on these separate edges,” Hoda said.

“Six feet apart, for about 15 months,” Savannah went on to say.

“Your breath smells minty fresh. This feels really, really good,” Hoda added.

The two did something special together in tribute to Broadway last year. See the special moment!
