Ozzy Osbourne Opens Up About Wife Sharon's Exit From 'The Talk'

Ozzy Osbourne is standing by wife Sharon Osbourne following her dramatic exit from The Talk.

If you recall, Sharon left the CBS talk show after a much-publicized argument with co-host Sheryl Underwood about the comments Piers Morgan had made about Meghan Markle.

It was a huge issue and conversation about race and racism that resulted in a few hiatuses of the show, and in the end, Sharon leaving the program after 11 years.

In a new interview on his SiriusXM show with Billy Morrison, Ozzy opened up about Sharon, and how her life is going now since her exit.

“She’s been through the mill of it,” he shared. “All I can tell you if my wife was slightly racist or tell you, she’s the possibly the most unrighteous person I’ve ever met. And I’m not just saying that, you know.”

Billy then replied, “I would totally concur. I’ve known you guys for 25 years and, it stunned me when it started happening. I just [think] there’s other stuff underneath it. Cause she’s not racist. It’s simple as that.”

“But she’s weathered the storm… She’s marching on,” Ozzy adds. “I mean, but it’s still an unpleasant issue. It’s one of them things once you’re accused of it, people tie with that brush and it’s very hard to shake up.”

Ozzy also opened up about how they handle the bumps in the road.

“Now, I just go ‘Okay. Yeah.’ Could it be, if she got caught doing something that I know that was wrong. I go, ‘whoa man.’ Cause when Sharon first got the news, she was devastated. She was like, ‘why are they saying this about me?’”

If you didn’t see, here’s what Sharon said about her leaving the show in her first interview afterwards.
