'Powerpuff Girls' Pilot Being Reworked at The CW, Will Be Repiloted Later

There is some news about the Powerpuff Girls television show, Powerpuff, the live action TV pilot being filmed for The CW.

The CW has made the decision to actually rework the pilot, meaning the show has not been picked up to series at this time.

The leads – Chloe Bennet, Dove Cameron, Yana Perrault and Donald Faison – will all be returning for the rework. Other cast members, as well as writers/producers will all return as well.

The show will be reworked and repiloted off of the usual pilot cycle, Just Jared can confirm. So, there is a chance the series will debut in full at a later date!

The first photos of Dove, Yana, and Chloe in costume as the trio went viral several weeks ago. A source explained why the costumes might look slightly different than what you expected.
