Miles Teller to Take Over Armie Hammer's Role in 'The Godfather' Making-Of Series

Miles Teller is taking on a massive new role, handed over from Armie Hammer amid controversy.

The 34-year-old Whiplash star will play producer Al Ruddy in the upcoming Paramount+ series The Offer, based on the behind-the-scenes tale of the making of The Godfather, Variety confirmed Friday (May 28).

The role was originally set to be played by Armie, who exited from the series amid allegations of sexual misconduct earlier this year. (He has since dropped out of multiple jobs.)

The show will tell the story of Ruddy’s experience as a producer on The Godfather back in 1972 across 10 episodes as a limited series.

At the same time as the news broke of his new job, Miles Teller was also reportedly involved in a physical altercation while on vacation.
