Stephen tweeted on Sunday afternoon (May 30), “My guess as to who killed Erin in MARE OF EASTTOWN: The boy, Ryan Ross.”

Someone responded to him and said, “But why really? He is such a good kid. He protects his sister. I think he is angry and sad because of he couldn’t saved Erin.”

Stephen responded, “True, but that’s a kid with a lot of rage inside. Case in point, beating the bully with a lunch tray when the bully was mean to the girl with Down Syndrome, aka trisomy 21.”

Someone nervous about reading spoilers said, “Are these spoilers or theories?? Oh god I hope theories.”

Stephen said in response, “Just theories. I could be wrong. I was once, I think it was in 1973.”
