Josh Peck Is Promising His Trailer To Tom Hanks If He'll Cameo on Disney+'s 'Turner & Hooch'

Josh Peck is hoping that Tom Hanks might cameo in the upcoming Disney+ Turner & Hooch series.

The 34-year-old actor, who will portray Tom‘s son in the new series, spoke to Entertainment Weekly about his high hopes for the Oscar winner to pop up on the show.

Josh shared with the outlet that he didn’t try and impersonate Tom‘s Turner at all.

“I’m sad to report that I can’t do it at all,” he joked. “I’m pretty good at impressions, but Hanks I just can’t break through.”

Josh did reveal that original Turner & Hooch fans might spot some callbacks to the movie.

“When we were preparing to start the show, there’s some bold wardrobe choices that Tom Hanks has in the movie — some very, very distinct, very specific patterns on his ties and some of his clothes — and I was like, ‘Oh, it’d be fun to sort of do a little homage to that,’” he says.

Josh is still hoping out for a Tom cameo, too, and won’t count it out.

“I’ll milk every resource. Tell him he can have my trailer,” he said.

Turner & Hooch is set to debut on July 16 on Disney+.
