Shane Dawson Returns To Instagram, Assures Fans He Hasn't Abandoned His YouTube Channel

Shane Dawson has posted on Instagram for the first time in six months.

The 32-year-old YouTuber returned the social platform and offered an update for fans.

Shane‘s post featured a photo of him and fiancé Ryland Adams at a seaside dinner.

“Dads left the house,” he wrote with the post.

“Ps. I know I haven’t posted a video in a long time and I promise it’s not because I don’t want to. I’m just trying to stay in a good mindset and be happy. I promise I’m not going to abandon my channel after 15 years of creating 🙏🏻,” Shane shared.

“Just been re-evaluating my life the last year and figuring out what I want to do with it. Life is short and I’m grateful for every second of it. Hope you guys are doing well! I miss you! :,),” he concluded.

Shane‘s last post on YouTube was almost a year ago, titled, “Taking Accountability.” The video saw Shane accepting responsibility for past insensitive videos and vowing to do better. See highlights from that video here.

Since that video last summer, Shane slammed another YouTuber for being “manipulative” amid ongoing beauty world drama, and his books were removed from store shelves.
