Lin-Manuel Miranda & Vanessa Nadal Dance The Night Away at 'In The Heights' After Party

Lin-Manuel Miranda gets his dance on with wife Vanessa Nadal during the In The Heights Opening Night After Party on Wednesday night (June 9) in New York City.

The married couple looked like the life of the party, after the screening of the movie, alongside the stars of the movie Anthony Ramos, Leslie Grace, Melissa Barrera, Daphne Rubin-Vega, Dascha Polanco, Gregory Diaz IV, and Jimmy Smits.

Gayle King was a special guest at the event, alongside director Jon M. Chu‘s parents, Ruth and Lawrence Chu, and Lin’s parents, too: Luis Miranda and Luz Towns-Miranda.

Ahead of the premiere, Vanessa shared a sweet story about the origins of the story her husband wrote.

“When we started dating, it was a bit weird that @Lin_Manuel was writing about (1) a girl named Vanessa that (2) lived on my block and who (3) his character was in love with. He told me I was more like Nina. It doesn’t matter bc this show captures our whole community,” she wrote.
