Angelina Jolie Reveals a Meaningful New Tattoo in Italian

Angelina Jolie has some new ink!

The 46-year-old Maleficent actress revealed that she got a new tattoo while stepping out this week in New York City.

In pictures obtained by Page Six, Angelina was seen with a new quote from astronomer Galileo Galilei on her forearm.

The tattoo reads “Eppur si muove,” which translates to “And yet it moves” in Italian.

The quote originates in 1633, when the astronomer was forced to take back his statement that the Earth moves around the sun, which later proved to be true. The phrase was part of his defiant assertion that the truth would prevail eventually. Click here to see the ink.
