The cancellation doesn’t come as a big surprise as Fox quietly pulled the show from its Thursday night schedule after its fifth episode of the second season amid low ratings. The remaining episodes then aired on Sunday nights.

The show centered around the Moody family – featuring Sean Sr. (Denis Leary), his wife Ann (Elizabeth Perkins), their eldest son Sean Jr. (Jay Baruchel), middle child daughter Bridget (Chelsea Frei), and youngest son Dan (Francois Arnaud) – all living together under one roof.

The final episode of The Moodys will be airing on Sunday, June 20th.
