Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Confirm They Purchased Domain Names for Daughter Before Her Birth

A spokesperson for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle just released a statement confirming the purchase of several domain names ahead of the birth of their daughter Lilibet Diana.

Among the domain names purchased were LilbetDiana.com and LiliDiana.com. There’s a reason why the royal couple made these purchases.

“As is often customary with public figures, a significant number of domains of any potential names that were considered were purchased by their team to protect against the exploitation of the name once it was later chosen and publicly shared,” a spokesperson for Harry, 36, and Meghan, 39, told People about their reasoning. The websites registered to their daughter are not yet active.
