HGTV Recruits Renovation Couple Egypt Sherrod & Mike Johnson For New Series

HGTV has given a green light to a brand new series with Egypt Sherrod and her husband, DJ Fadelf (aka Mike Johnson).

The married couple will star in Married To Real Estate for the network, which is expected to debut in early 2022.

Egypt has been a long staple on the network, after having her own show, Property Virgins, which then turned into Flipping Virgins. Mike joined her on both shows.

The couple also recently appeared on Rock The Block as guest judges.

Deadline reports that Married to Real Estate will have eight episodes, and center on the couple as they juggle their busy professional and personal lives while helping clients land their perfect home in a dream neighborhood.

“With an eye for design and ensuring future profit, Egypt leverages her knowledge of the market to find affordable properties in desirable locations for her clients. Mike and his team then create a gorgeous home with smart renovations that increase its worth and return on investment. Together, they turn houses into dream homes,” a release shared.

“Egypt already built a huge fan base as a proven real estate and renovation expert, but now we get to see her in action with Mike, her husband and business partner, and together they are positively irresistible,” Jane Latman, president of HGTV, added in the release. “If Egypt and Mike are on a home-buying and renovation team, everyone wins.”

Egypt and Mike share two children, Kendall and Harper.
