Charlize Theron Describes the Intense Interactions She's Had With 'Fast & Furious' Fans

Charlize Theron is getting candid about starring in the Fast & Furious franchise!

The 45-year-old actress made an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Friday (June 25) and shared that after joining the long-running series, she had some interesting interactions with fans.

“People love these movies,” Charlize explained. “And they love these characters deeply and the whole theme of family runs so deep in this franchise.”

She continued, “When I showed up as the baddie in Fast 8 and kind of turned Dom against his family in that movie, I definitely had a couple of fans who appreciate a good villain but at the same time they’re like, ‘How dare you do that to Dom, how dare you turn him against the family!’”

She added that a common response was, “Great job, but don’t do that again.”

Charlize also shared her thoughts on rumors of a female Fast & Furious spinoff, telling Jimmy that while she didn’t know anything about the reboot, she’d be up for it.

“The woman in this franchise is one of the biggest reasons I wanted to be part of it. No offence to Vin Diesel, but Michelle Rodriguez is pretty bada–,” she said.
