First reported by TMZ Sports, Hercy, who was scouted by USC, UCLA, LSU, Missouri, and many others, will be playing for Tennessee State as point guard.

However, he hasn’t stepped on the court yet, nor has camp even started before he inked the deal.

The NCAA has a new policy for college athletes and they can profit off their likeness and get endorsement deals like this.

“It’s incredible,” Master P shared about Hercy‘s deal. “This is gonna change the way college athletes want to stay in school.”

Hercy will be a brand ambassador for the tech company, and is committed to supporting HBCU leaders.

“I learned from my dad, I’m gonna start off by giving back to the community and everyone around me,” Hercy shared during a press conference. “I’m giving back to the kids. Giving school supplies.”
