Prince William Hosts The NHS Big Tea Party Without Wife Kate Middleton After She Goes Into COVID Isolation

Prince William has taken over hosting duties for the NHS Big Tea garden party held at Buckingham Palace on Monday (July 5) in London, England.
The 39-year-old Duke of Cambridge was set to co-host the event, which celebrates the National Health Service’s 73rd birthday, along with his wife, Kate Middleton.
However, it was announced earlier that the Duchess of Cambridge had to self-isolate after being exposed to someone who tested positive for coronavirus.
“Last week The Duchess of Cambridge came into contact with someone who has subsequently tested positive for COVID-19,” a Kensington Palace spokesperson shared in a statement. “Her Royal Highness is not experiencing any symptoms, but is following all relevant government guidelines and is self-isolating at home.”
The Big Tea party pays tribute to health workers and gives back to them and gives communities an opportunity to relax and reflect and thank health staff and volunteers for the role they have played throughout the pandemic.
Just hours before, William also attended a special service of Thanksgiving for the NHS at St Paul’s Cathedral.
Last week, William reunited with his younger brother, Prince Harry, for a very special occasion.
