Riley Keough Wishes She Would've Hugged Late Brother Benjamin More In New Tribute

Riley Keough is remembering her late brother, Benjamin Keough.

The 32-year-old shared a tribute to Benjamin on her Instagram Stories, recalling that July 5, 2020 was the last day she saw him before his untimely death.

Benjamin was just 27 when he died by suicide last year.

“A year ago this morning was the last time I got to see you,” Riley wrote on top of her photo with Benjamin that she posted. “I didn’t hug you properly because I thought you had COVID.”

She added, “I wish I’d hugged you properly. I miss you every day.”

Following Benjamin‘s death, Riley went through training to become a death doula and addressed her own grief in the process.

“We are taught that it’s a morbid subject to talk about, or we’re so afraid of it that we’re unable to talk about it…then of course it happens to us, and we are very ill-prepared. I think it’s so important to be educated on conscious dying and death the way we educate ourselves on birth and conscious birthing,” she had told her fans after completing training.
