Don Cheadle's Reaction to His Emmy Nomination Is Going Viral Because He Doesn't Get It

Don Cheadle was nominated for a 2021 Emmy Award in the Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series for her work on The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

The 56-year-old actor reprised his role of Colonel James Rupert “Rhodey” Rhodes in the Marvel show for a 95-second scene in episode one. He earned the nomination for this short stint opposite Anthony Mackie.

After learning of his nomination, Don issued a short and sweet reaction on Twitter.

“thanks, well wishers. sorry, haters. agreed, [shruggers],” Don posted on Twitter. “i don’t really get it either. buuuuuuuuuut on we go…”
